Running a haunted attraction is a bloody undertaking, and we know you’re on the hunt for ways to streamline your operations, sell more tickets, and create a killer experience for your victims—we mean, guests. At HauntPay, we’re here to provide you with the sharpest tools to do just that.
That’s why we’re so excited to announce a fresh batch of terrifyingly good features designed to help you sell more tickets, protect your profit, and put on a show that will make your customer scream. Let’s dig into the gory details!

Sell More Souls with Smart Marketing & Vicious Upsells
We’ve summoned a few new features that make it easier than ever to boost sales and attract fresh meat.
1. Integrated Email Marketing
Tired of juggling multiple platforms? Now you can build, send, and track marketing emails directly within your HauntPay account. Promote upcoming events, share important updates, or send special offers all in one creepy place.

2. Ticket Upsells at Checkout
You’ve always been able to upsell bloody merch and concessions, and now you can upsell tickets to your other attractions! This is a powerful way to cross-promote and increase sales for all your haunted offerings.

Protect Your Revenue & Save Your Skin
Protecting your business is as important as growing it. These new features help you mitigate risk and handle customer issues with greater ease.
3. Refund and Dispute Protection
Guests now have the option to purchase enhanced protection for their tickets and receive a refund from our ghoulish partner, Protecht, in the event of situations like a sudden layoff, a family emergency, or a fatal accident. The best part? You get to keep their ticket revenue!
Additionally, for qualifying haunts, we’re now offering optional dispute protection. While it comes with a slightly higher fee, this feature provides peace of mind by shielding you from the financial loss and hassle of chargebacks or disputes.

4. Invoice Cancellation
Plans change. Mistakes happen. Now, you can easily cancel an invoice you’ve already sent to a customer, making it simple to correct errors or update group bookings. No need to clear your whole cart!

Enhance the Victim Experience
A smooth, professional experience for your victims can lead to more screams and repeat business. We’ve added a few things to help you create just that.
5. Waivers and Forms
Many haunts require a liability waiver or a form to be signed. Instead of using a third-party service, you can now build and manage waivers directly within HauntPay, ensuring guests sign their lives away before they even get to the door.
Status: Launching September 2025

6. Formattable Event Terms
Need to add important legal information or details about your event? You can now format your event terms with bolding, italics, and lists, making them easier for guests to read and understand.

Small Changes, Big Impact
Sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest difference. We’ve listened to your screams and made a few key improvements to the checkout experience.
7. “Clear Cart” Button
Guests can now start over with a single click if they want to empty their cart and begin again.

8. “Remove Promo Code” Button
If a guest enters a promo code and changes their mind, they can now remove it easily without having to reload the page or clear their whole cart.

9. Fee Transparency
We’ve rolled Fee Transparency out across ALL haunts on the HauntPay platform. That means the initial price the customer sees is the price they will pay at checkout, including all service and processing fees. No one likes a jump scare when they’re about to buy tickets!
